An Exterior Transformed By Benjamin Moore

One of our in-store designers Meg from Joy Studio recently shared with us the before/after pics of a home she chose paint colours for a few years ago. The paint colours on this home were dated and boring.  The homeowners wanted to go for a classic look and bring in some colour tones from nature, as their home backs on to a ravine. Meg chose a Benjamin Moore tone in a muted green taupe for the stucco CC-540 Stampede, the trim and garage are a shade or two lighter CC-530 Brandon Beige.  She had to work with the existing soffits & fascia which were in a yellow tone, so the green/brown worked great.  For an elegance look, the front doors and shutters were painted in the darkest chocolate you will find in the Benjamin Moore colour preview collection (2114-10 Bitttersweet Chocolate). It gives the look of a rich and dark stained wood. Don’t forget, one of the most important components of this project was the amazing paint crew that brought it to fruition. Many thanks to McConnell Painting from Oakville,ON.
