One colour that you see everywhere in China is red, bright bold RED. From ancient times to modern day, China red is still used everywhere. China-Red

They say it's the colour that corresponds with fire, symbolizing good fortune and joy.

Red is found everywhere Chinese decor, from doors, wall paint to furniture.

Red is strictly forbidden at funerals as it is a traditionally symbolic color of happiness; especially at weddings. IMG_8462 The colour red in a wedding symbolizes having a thriving life. This is why chinese brides wear red on their wedding day, in hopes of having a good and thriving marriage. IMG_8464 Often associated with festivals, paper lanterns are common in China, where they are often hung outside of businesses  and in parks to attract attention.
